About the difference between 'Sony lens' and Carl Zeiss lens'? - carl zeiss lenses
He was with a Carl Sony W110 "Zeiss and I really liked the point made in this area. Sony Lens I recently purchased a Sony W180 (10.1 MP) to the playlist. Though it was only the first 7.2 MP camera I was able to capture better pictures with her. Is this because of the difference of the lens?

The goal of Sony is a very decent goal, but not the same quality as that of a Carl Zeiss lens. Compare Sony Cybershot camera and you find a price difference. A camera with more features that cost less are often a Sony lens on a "least developed in comparison" from Sony with a Zeiss objective. I have a 4MP Sony with a Zeiss objective, and I get better pictures with that about 10 compared to MP cameras.
Remember, the pixel density refers to the width x height. For example, a camera with twice the resolution of a 7MP camera would have 28MP and not be useful if the goal is not so clear that the 7 MP camera.
